I think that nowadays everyone has an addiction. It actually is quite hard to not have an addiction to something these days. You know, we are exposed to so many different stimuli that we cannot help it but be addicted. Television, computers, the Internet, different kind of pills, alcohol, drugs... whatever - those are all things that can easily make us their slaves. Quite frankly, I really think that technology is the most addictive thing these days. However, is it so negative? Well, obviously, it is in some way negative but on the other hand it is far better to be addicted to technology than to be addicted to drugs, for instance. I mean, there is nothing that bad in being addicted to the Internet, for example. In fact, surfing the Net, even though hazardous to your eyes, can help you plenty of times. For instance, I had this case the other day. I was sad and gloomy and all blue and whatnot. I had to talk to someone but all my friends were at work at that particular time. Then, I joined an adult chat room and you know? It proved to be quite useful actually. People in that adult chat room were actually extremely friendly and they all were down-to-earth and laid-back. I honestly got my problem solved by those people. Who would have thought?
