A blue bathroom cabinet for my parents
Last month my parents sold their old house and bought a small flat in a terraced house. The flat is situated near a park and a football stadium. It"s on the ground floor and the living room leads to a small but beautiful garden. We have spent an incredible amount of time redecorating the flat. We"ve painted the walls yellow and green and my mum has designed the bathroom. The walls are covered in sky blue and light grey tiles and the ceiling is painted white. It looks really nice, but the only thing that"s missing there is a bathroom cabinet. But they actually have one, they just don"t know it yet. I"ve just bought one for them and I‘m going to give it as a present. I found the cabinet in a large furniture shopping centre in our city. It cost a lot of money, but my parent"s thirtieth wedding anniversary is coming near, so I suppose I should give them something more valuable than I usually do. The bathroom cabinet is bondi blue. It"s made of wood actually, but is covered in a kind of veneer in that colour. It"s not very big but when you look inside it seems there"s a lot of space. I"ve already asked my sister, who"s got a car, to help me transport it to my parent"s flat on the day of their anniversary. I really hope they like my present.
